The Oasis of Mara is a culturally significant location for many of the area’s First Peoples, and a point of origin for some. The Park Store at the Oasis of Mara (formerly known as the Oasis Visitor Center), overlooks the Oasis and its accessible, dog-friendly trail, which focuses on the history of the location and its inhabitants. Recently re-opened to augment the needs of visitors in 29 Palms, the store offers a variety of safety items and other park-related merchandise.
