The Joshua Tree Experience
Why JTNPA?
JTNPA is the primary nonprofit partner of Joshua Tree National Park. When you join us in the field, you support the park. Here’s how:
Education: Our classes in Joshua Tree National Park are a form of in-kind aid. We work closely with park leadership to build our curriculum. Our educational programming supplements the ranger programs in the park, creating a wealth of learning opportunities without increasing park rangers’ workloads.
Outreach: Our mission is to support the park’s goals. This encompasses many outreach efforts, including fostering stewardship through the Junior Ranger program, facilitating clean-up days, and providing safety information to visitors.
Fundraising: Many of our events are fundraisers for important projects and programs in Joshua Tree National Park that wouldn’t be possible through federal funding alone. We are dedicated to supporting the park, and when you take home a piece of art from the JTNPA West Art Gallery, bid on an item at our annual auction, or attend a science lecture, you support the park too!
