The Joshua Tree National Park Association (JTNPA) will reopen its Joshua Tree Visitor Center (JTVC) effective immediately. The visitor center, which is privately owned by JTNPA, will be open its regular hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M, 7 days per week. While merchandise sales will continue, a focus of JTNPA Information Specialists will be to
assist potential park visitors in accessing alternative area attractions. Indoor restrooms
will be available, and 2 portable toilets have been placed in the JTVC parking lot as
well. Federally owned visitor centers Oasis Visitor Center, Cottonwood Visitor Center,
and Black Rock Nature Center will remain closed until further notice.
